Isometric Wall Press
Chest, Shoulders, TricepsWall
An isometric exercise targeting the chest, front delts, and triceps against a wall. Safely overloads muscles without joint movement.
How to do it
1Stand facing a wall a short step away, feet shoulder-width apart.
2Place your palms flat against the wall at chest height with elbows slightly bent.
3Gradually increase pressure against the wall as if trying to push through it.
4Engage your chest and shoulders to sustain the force.
5Hold static tension for the target time without shifting your feet.
6Smoothly reduce pressure and relax.
Common mistakes
Holding your breath during the press, spiking blood pressure.
Locking out your elbows completely, taking tension off the chest.
Shrugging your shoulders or rounding your back.
Breathing
Breathe steadily and deeply throughout the hold.
