Wall Walk
Shoulders, Core, Triceps, BackBodyweight (wall)
A bodyweight exercise that builds shoulders, triceps, back, and core strength as you step up into a wall handstand.
How to do it
1Start in a push-up position with your feet touching the base of the wall.
2Press off the floor, place one foot onto the wall, and begin walking your hands toward the wall.
3Step your hands and feet up until you reach a comfortable incline or vertical position.
4Hold at the top, squeezing your abs and glutes to maintain a straight hollow line.
5Walk your hands forward and feet down the wall to return smoothly to the start.
Common mistakes
Sagging your lower back from a loose core, placing unwanted pressure on your spine.
Tilting your head back, causing excessive neck strain.
Descending too fast and uncontrolled, increasing the risk of falling.
Breathing
Breathe steadily and continuously throughout the movement; do not hold your breath.
Make it harder or easier
To scale down, walk only partway up the wall.
To make it harder, hold the top position against the wall for a few seconds.
This is general guidance, not a medical opinion. Listen to your body: if it hurts, stop. If you have an injury or a chronic condition, talk to a doctor first.
