TRX Single-Leg Balance

TRX Single-Leg Balance

Ankle stabilizers, quads, glutes, absTRX Suspension Trainer

A single-leg balance and coordination drill using TRX straps for minimal support. Strengthens the thighs, glutes, core, and ankle stabilizers.

How to do it

1Face the anchor point, holding the TRX handles with slightly bent elbows.
2Shift your weight to one leg, lifting the free foot slightly off the floor with a soft knee bend.
3Stay tall with level hips, pressing your standing foot firmly into the ground.
4Hold your balance for the set time, relying on the straps as little as possible.
5Switch sides and repeat for the other leg.

Common mistakes

Leaning your full weight into your hands, dumping tension off your leg stabilizers.
Letting your standing knee cave inward, risking bad knee alignment.
Tipping your hips to the side, breaking your spine alignment.

Breathing

Breathe smoothly and deeply without holding your breath during the entire hold.

This is general guidance, not a medical opinion. Listen to your body: if it hurts, stop. If you have an injury or a chronic condition, talk to a doctor first.
