TRX Power Pull

TRX Power Pull

core, lats, bicepsTRX Suspension Trainer

The TRX Power Pull combines a single-arm row with torso rotation to work your lats, biceps, and core while building rotational spinal stability.

How to do it

1Grab one TRX handle with one hand, face the anchor point, and lean back on a straight arm.
2Reach your free arm backward on a diagonal, opening your torso outward.
3Initiate the movement by rotating your torso back to center and bending your working elbow.
4Pull yourself up toward the handle while reaching your free arm up the TRX strap.
5Slowly lower back to the start with control, rotating your torso back open.

Common mistakes

Using momentum or popping your hips, taking work away from your back and core.
Letting your hips sag, breaking your straight line and disengaging your core.
Shrugging your working shoulder up toward your ear, overworking your upper trap.

Breathing

Inhale as you lean back and rotate open. Exhale as you pull and rotate back up.

Make it harder or easier

To make it easier, walk your feet further from the anchor.
To make it harder, step closer to increase your lean angle.

This is general guidance, not a medical opinion. Listen to your body: if it hurts, stop. If you have an injury or a chronic condition, talk to a doctor first.
