TRX Power Knee Tuck

TRX Power Knee Tuck

Abs, Hip Flexors, Quads, GlutesTRX Suspension Trainer

The TRX power knee is a dynamic plank exercise that fires up your abs and hip flexors. Performing it unidirectionally or alternating requires high core stability and balance inside the straps to build functional core strength and pelvic control.

How to do it

1Place your feet in the TRX foot cradles and push up into a strong high plank on straight arms.
2Establish a straight line from your head to your heels, turning on your core and glutes.
3Without letting your hips collapse or rise, drive one knee into your chest using your abs.
4Pause for a split second at the peak contract, staying centered without letting your hips tilt.
5Extend your leg back under control to return to the starting plank position.
6Repeat on the same side or alternate legs according to your training plan.

Common mistakes

Letting your lower back sag, placing unsafe pressure on your lumbar spine.
Piking your hips high into the air, taking tension off your core.
Swinging your body and wobbling in the straps due to a lack of core control.

Breathing

Exhale as you actively drive your knee into your chest. Inhale as you extend your leg back into plank.

Make it harder or easier

To make it easier, slow down the tempo, drop to your forearms, or reduce your range of motion.
To make it harder, pick up the knee drive speed or add a pause at peak contraction.

This is general guidance, not a medical opinion. Listen to your body: if it hurts, stop. If you have an injury or a chronic condition, talk to a doctor first.
