TRX Low Row

TRX Low Row

Lats, Biceps, Rear DeltsTRX Suspension Trainer

A bodyweight pulling exercise targeting your lats and rear delts. Great for fixing shoulder balance and teaching proper scapular movement, with intensity easily adjusted by changing your body angle.

How to do it

1Grab the TRX handles, step forward, and lean back until your arms are fully extended.
2Pull your shoulders down away from your ears and brace your core to hold a straight line.
3Drive your elbows back and pull your chest to the handles, squeezing your shoulder blades.
4Touch your hands to the sides of your lower chest at the top of the pull.
5Slowly extend your arms under control to return to the starting position.

Common mistakes

Letting your hips sag or arching your lower back, losing core tension.
Shrugging your shoulders toward your ears as you row, overloading your upper traps.
Jerking your body at the start of the movement instead of pulling smoothly with your back.

Breathing

Inhale at the bottom with arms straight, and exhale as you row your body up.

This is general guidance, not a medical opinion. Listen to your body: if it hurts, stop. If you have an injury or a chronic condition, talk to a doctor first.
