TRX Hamstring Curl

TRX Hamstring Curl

Hamstrings, GlutesTRX Suspension Trainer

Targets your hamstrings and glutes using TRX straps. Improves pelvic stability and posterior chain strength from a lying position.

How to do it

1Lie on your back, place your heels in the TRX straps, and lay your arms flat by your sides for support.
2Lift your hips off the floor until your body forms a straight line from shoulders to heels.
3Pull your heels toward your glutes, bending your knees while keeping your hips elevated.
4Pause briefly at the top and squeeze your hamstrings.
5Slowly extend your legs back out under control without letting your hips drop.

Common mistakes

Arching your lower back as you curl, overloading your spine instead of your hamstrings.
Letting your hips drop to the floor during the movement, losing glute tension.
Jerking the straps quickly, reducing muscle engagement and control.

Breathing

Exhale as you pull your heels in; inhale as you smoothly extend your legs back out.

This is general guidance, not a medical opinion. Listen to your body: if it hurts, stop. If you have an injury or a chronic condition, talk to a doctor first.
