TRX Clock Press
Chest, Shoulders, Triceps, CoreTRX Suspension Trainer
A TRX push-up variation where one arm bends while the other sweeps out in an arc. Builds chest, shoulders, and triceps while heavily engaging core stabilizers.
How to do it
1Stand facing away from the TRX anchor, grab the handles, and lean forward until the straps are fully taut.
2Maintain a straight line from your head to your heels by bracing your core and glutes.
3Inhale and lower your body, bending one elbow close to your side while sweeping the other arm out to the side in a wide arc.
4Exhale and drive through both hands to press back up using your chest and shoulders.
5Repeat, alternating arm roles on each rep for balanced development.
Common mistakes
Arching or sagging your lower back, putting unsafe pressure on your spine.
Letting straps go slack at the bottom of the movement, losing control.
Falling into the bottom position quickly, which increases risk to the shoulder joints.
Breathing
Inhale as you lower your body down; exhale as you press smoothly back up to the top.
This is general guidance, not a medical opinion. Listen to your body: if it hurts, stop. If you have an injury or a chronic condition, talk to a doctor first.
