TRX Chest Press with Knee Tuck

TRX Chest Press with Knee Tuck

Chest, Triceps, Front Delts, Abs, Hip FlexorsTRX Suspension Trainer

Pairs a TRX push-up with a suspended knee tuck. Forces your chest, triceps, shoulders, and core to work together continuously.

How to do it

1Hook your feet in the TRX straps and get into a high plank position.
2Bend your elbows and lower your chest into a deep press.
3Push forcefully back up into the top plank position.
4Drive your knees toward your chest with your abs, then extend back out smoothly.

Common mistakes

Letting your hips sag in the push-up, straining the lower back.
Flaring your elbows straight out to the sides during the press.
Kicking your legs back violently after the tuck instead of extending with control.

Breathing

Exhale as you press up and as you tuck your knees; inhale as you lower down and extend your legs.

Make it harder or easier

To make it easier, separate the press and knee tuck with a clear pause in the plank.
To make it harder, combine both movements into one fluid tempo.

This is general guidance, not a medical opinion. Listen to your body: if it hurts, stop. If you have an injury or a chronic condition, talk to a doctor first.
