TRX Biceps Curl with Reverse Lunge

TRX Biceps Curl with Reverse Lunge

Biceps, Quads, Glutes, HamstringsTRX Suspension Trainer

Combines a reverse lunge with a TRX bicep curl. Trains the biceps, quads, and glutes while testing your balance.

How to do it

1Face the anchor point holding handles at chest height with arms extended.
2Step back into a deep reverse lunge, keeping your torso tall.
3Drive up out of the lunge while curling the handles directly toward your forehead.
4Pause at the top, then step back into the next lunge as you extend your arms.

Common mistakes

Letting your elbows drop during the curl, taking tension off the biceps.
Slamming your back knee into the floor due to a lack of control.
Pulling yourself up entirely with the straps instead of driving through your front leg.

Breathing

Inhale as you step back into the lunge; exhale as you stand up and curl.

Make it harder or easier

To make it easier, reduce the depth of your reverse lunge.
To make it harder, keep your back leg floating off the floor at the top.

This is general guidance, not a medical opinion. Listen to your body: if it hurts, stop. If you have an injury or a chronic condition, talk to a doctor first.
