TRX Pendulum

TRX Pendulum

obliques, abs, hip flexorsTRX Suspension Trainer

Performed in a plank position with feet in the TRX straps, this exercise targets your abs and core stabilizers. It builds oblique strength through controlled lateral leg swings.

How to do it

1Place your feet in the TRX straps and set up in a forearm or high plank.
2Form a straight line from head to heels, keeping your pelvis in a neutral position.
3Without driving your knees to your chest, smoothly swing both legs together to the right.
4Bring your legs back to center, keeping your lower back locked in place.
5Repeat to the left side while keeping your upper body completely stable.

Common mistakes

Sagging your hips, which overloads the lower back.
Swinging too wide and twisting your torso, losing tension in the obliques.
Using momentum instead of muscle control to swing the legs.

Breathing

Breathe rhythmically: inhale as your legs return to center, and exhale as you swing them to the side.

This is general guidance, not a medical opinion. Listen to your body: if it hurts, stop. If you have an injury or a chronic condition, talk to a doctor first.
