TRX Semicircle
Abs, obliques, hip flexorsTRX Suspension Trainer
A TRX plank variation focused on strengthening the abs and obliques. The sweeping knee arc creates dynamic demand on your hip flexors and core stabilizers.
How to do it
1Place your feet into the TRX loops and lock into a push-up plank position.
2Form a straight line from head to heels, squeezing your abs and glutes with no arch in your back.
3Drive your knees toward your chest, sweeping them in an arc toward your right side.
4Return to the plank, fully extending your legs.
5Repeat the motion, sweeping your knees in an arc toward your left side.
Common mistakes
Arching your lower back, shifting work off your abs and onto your spine.
Using momentum and swinging your legs uncontrollably.
Piking your hips too high, which takes tension off your core.
Breathing
Inhale as you extend your legs back to plank; exhale as you pull your knees up in an arc.
