Wide-Grip TRX Row
lats, traps, rhomboidsRings, TRX Straps
A bodyweight horizontal row using rings or TRX suspension straps with a wide grip. Builds upper back strength and core stability.
How to do it
1Grab the handles with a wide grip and lean back, keeping a straight line from head to heels.
2Extend your arms in front of you and lock in your core and glutes.
3Bend your arms and pull your chest up, driving your elbows wide out to the sides at shoulder level.
4Squeeze your shoulder blades at the top while keeping your body rigid.
5Smoothly lower yourself back down, controlling the descent with your back muscles.
Common mistakes
Sagging at the hips or arching your lower back, losing a rigid plank position.
Pulling by flexing your wrists or craning your neck forward, shifting tension off your back.
Shrugging your shoulders up to your ears, creating neck tension.
Breathing
Exhale as you pull your torso up to the handles; inhale as you lower back down under control.
This is general guidance, not a medical opinion. Listen to your body: if it hurts, stop. If you have an injury or a chronic condition, talk to a doctor first.
