Sled Pull

Quads, Hamstrings, Glutes, Back, CoreProwler Sled, Straps

Low-impact conditioning drill that builds leg drive, glute power, and cardiovascular endurance without eccentric stress on the joints.

How to do it

1Grab the handles or strap the belt around your waist, stepping back until the straps are completely taut.
2Bend your knees slightly, drop your hips, and lean back with a flat spine.
3Walk backward, digging your heels into the ground with strong, intentional steps.
4Keep constant tension on the straps and prevent your knees from caving inward.
5Maintain a steady pace for the entire prescribed distance.

Common mistakes

Rounding your lower back, taking tension off your legs.
Jerking the sled with erratic steps instead of smooth, continuous pulling.
Walking on your toes instead of driving through your whole foot and heel.

Breathing

Breathe deeply and consistently, matching your exhale to every stride.

This is general guidance, not a medical opinion. Listen to your body: if it hurts, stop. If you have an injury or a chronic condition, talk to a doctor first.
