Single-Leg Kettlebell Pass Around

Single-Leg Kettlebell Pass Around

Glutes, Core, Lower Body StabilizersKettlebell

A single-leg balance drill passing a kettlebell around your torso. Develops ankle and hip stability while challenging core strength.

How to do it

1Stand on one leg with a slight bend in your knee for stability.
2Hold a kettlebell in one hand with a tall, stable posture.
3Smoothly pass the kettlebell in front of you to the opposite hand.
4Guide the kettlebell behind your back and pass it back to the original hand.
5Complete the desired reps in one direction, then switch directions.

Common mistakes

Swaying your torso heavily with the weight, reducing stabilizer recruitment.
Locking out the stance knee, which kills your balance.
Looking down at the floor, disrupting your visual balance cues.

Breathing

Breathe steadily and deeply throughout the set without holding your breath.

Make it harder or easier

To make it easier, tap the toe of your free leg down briefly whenever you lose balance.
To make it harder, use a heavier kettlebell or pass the weight faster.

This is general guidance, not a medical opinion. Listen to your body: if it hurts, stop. If you have an injury or a chronic condition, talk to a doctor first.
