Kettlebell Rack Carry
Core, Shoulders, Traps, ForearmsKettlebell
Asymmetrical carry holding a kettlebell in the front rack position. Builds forearm endurance, shoulder stability, and core strength.
How to do it
1Clean the kettlebell into the rack position, resting the bell against your forearm with your hand close to your chest.
2Stand tall, square your shoulders, and brace your core to prevent leaning.
3Walk forward with smooth, deliberate steps while keeping your torso upright.
4Keep your elbow tucked tight to your ribs so the weight stays stable.
5Cover the set distance, set the weight down under control, and switch sides.
Common mistakes
Leaning away from or behind the kettlebell, putting uneven pressure on your spine.
Flaring your elbow out, which overtaxes your shoulder joint.
Holding your breath, causing fast fatigue.
Breathing
Take deep, steady breaths into your belly throughout the carry.
Make it harder or easier
To scale down, go lighter or walk a shorter distance; to scale up, increase the weight or carrying time.
