L-Sit
Abs, Hip Flexors, Triceps, ShouldersBodyweight
A static isometric hold where you support your weight on your hands with straight legs extended in front of you. It hammers your abs, hip flexors, triceps, and shoulders while requiring good hamstring mobility.
How to do it
1Sit on the floor with straight legs and place your palms next to your hips.
2Press hard into the floor, depress your shoulders, and lift your hips off the ground.
3Brace your core and quads to lift your straight legs parallel to the floor.
4Keep your torso upright, forming an L-shape with your legs.
5Hold this position for the target duration, maintaining max tension throughout.
Common mistakes
Shrugging shoulders up to ears — reduces stability and overworks the upper traps.
Bending your knees — takes tension off the abs and hip flexors.
Rounding your upper back — disrupts balance and ruins body control.
Breathing
Take shallow, consistent breaths while keeping your core locked tight.
