Low Cable Crossover
Upper chestCable Crossover
An isolation movement designed to build the upper chest using low cable pulleys. It directly targets the upper pecs without overloading the joints.
How to do it
1Attach handles to the low pulleys, grab them, and take a small step forward.
2Keep your torso upright, shoulders down, and elbows slightly bent.
3Sweep your hands up and together in an arc toward upper chest level.
4Pause briefly at the top to squeeze your upper pecs.
5Lower the handles back down and slightly out under control.
Common mistakes
Curling the handles with your biceps instead of sweeping with your chest.
Arching your lower back excessively, placing unwanted stress on your spine.
Raising your hands too high, shifting the focus from your chest to your front delts.
Breathing
Exhale as you sweep your arms up, inhale as you lower the handles back down.
This is general guidance, not a medical opinion. Listen to your body: if it hurts, stop. If you have an injury or a chronic condition, talk to a doctor first.
