Bench Toe Taps
Quads, Glutes, CalvesBench
Dynamic bench toe taps to warm up the legs, sharpen coordination, and elevate heart rate smoothly.
How to do it
1Stand facing the bench a step away with a tall torso.
2Lift one leg and lightly tap the top edge of the bench with your toes.
3Return it to the floor and immediately alternate to tap with the other foot.
4Maintain a quick, rhythmic tempo, pumping your arms with bent elbows.
Common mistakes
Shifting full body weight onto the bench slows you down and risks loss of balance.
Stomping hard on the bench sends unnecessary impact through your joints.
Rounding your back throws off balance and disengages your core.
Breathing
Breathe continuously and rhythmically in sync with your movement.
Make it harder or easier
To slow down, lower the tempo or use a lower step. To intensify, add a light hop between foot switches.
This is general guidance, not a medical opinion. Listen to your body: if it hurts, stop. If you have an injury or a chronic condition, talk to a doctor first.
